Graphic Designer

Reporting to the Creative Design Manager, this exciting role provides a fantastic opportunity to help shape Morplan’s image by:

  1. Creating imaginative designs and layouts for Morplan’s website and catalogues
  2. Producing stunning email campaigns which really increase customer response
  3. Working up a range of ideas to increase impact for customer brand identity

Working on Macs using a range of packages including Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver, the successful applicant will be able to exploit their creative talent to the full. The work is varied and there’s lots of it so being able to work effectively within tight deadlines is critical. If you welcome a challenge, there is plenty of scope to explore new ideas to make our online presence an exciting place for customers to visit. Naturally, you will still need to possess the discipline to maintain control over style sheets and design guidelines for continuity.

The job is based in our busy marketing department and you will become part of an energetic team which plays a major role in helping to achieve the company’s growth plans. We have a can-do attitude and you will need the drive and enthusiasm to strive for the best yet still find ways to exceed this standard on future campaigns.

Marketing Database Manager Harlow

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this exciting new role combines 3 key objectives: 1) Taking responsibility for ensuring high quality standards across all customer and prospect databases 2) Analysing internal and external data to create effective market research with actionable conclusions 3) Developing high-growth direct marketing strategies to drive leads to all of our sales channels

The successful applicant will take full ownership of the company’s customer and prospect databases, championing high standards and devising data improvement and cleansing strategies with managers who control the input. Based on expert campaign analysis and interpretation of data, you’ll generate superior insight on customer file development and create strategies to increase our conversion rates. Your passion for using data to understand customer behaviour across different markets will help develop policy, and by carving data into segments, you can formulate campaigns which generate potential sales targets for customer-facing teams to exploit.

With substantial experience in a Marketing Database Manager role, ideally in a B2B environment, you’ll be passionate about spread sheets, databases and any analysis that drives Direct Marketing activities. You’ll be an avid user of RFM, Binary or other scoring methodologies and your organised and methodical approach will enable you to create profitable campaign plans for Marketing colleagues to deliver. Your technical understanding of data mining and statistical techniques is crucial combined with good commercial acumen and a focus on delivering results for the business. You’ll have substantial experience of developing strategy for complex, segmented direct marketing campaigns, using market research to evaluate their effectiveness. Multi-Channel experience would be an advantage.

The role is full-time.
