USING THE CATALOGUE
Welcome to Morplan On-Line. Please feel free to browse our on-line catalogue.
   This can be done by clicking on the links, that will take you from section headings, down to sub-sections, and eventually, individual products within those sub-sections.
   Clicking on the Morplan symbol will take you to the catalogue index.
Alternativly you can use the search facility at the top left hand corner of the page. Simply enter a word or a short phrase and click 'GO' and you will get a list of all links that contain that word or phrase.
   Once you are on one of the 'Catalogue Pages' you can use the list box, at the top right hand corner of the page, to take you instantly to other sections.
   The images on the product pages can be clicked to enlarge them, this will help you to make the correct purchase.

In order to buy something you MUST either REGISTER yourself with the site, if this is your first visit, or you MUST LOG ON if you have visited the site before and have already registered yourself.

HOW DO I USE SEARCH ?
    You can enter either a search word/words or an item code. The search will retrieve products that contain either those words or that code.
      Only the first 3 words entered will be used in the search. Partial words can be entered, for example 'tic' would return products such as TICket or plasTIC. If you enter a item code the search will bring up the products to which that item belongs.
HOW DO I REGISTER ?(Note ID's and Passwords are case sensitive)
  1. Important Note: The Name and Address you supply in the registration process will be used, by us, as your Invoice Address.
  2. Use the Register/Update link under the Set-Up section on the left hand navigation bar.
  3. Fill in the form, making sure you enter details in all the fields marked 'Mandatory'.
    NOTE The values you use in Logon ID and Password will be the ID and Password you will need to Logon next time you visit the site. You choose these for yourself, please make a note of them and keep them SAFE. The 'Identity Check Question' will be used to check your identity should you lose your password. It should be something private to you, like 'My pet dog's name is ?', for example.
  4. Press the Submit Registration Information Button
  5. If there are no problems you can now 'Continue Shopping', set/update delivery addresses or proceed to the Check Out.
HOW DO I LOG ON ?(Note ID's and Passwords are case sensitive)
  1. Use the Log in link under the Set-Up section on the left hand navigation bar.
  2. Enter the Logon ID and Password that you set when you registered.
  3. You can now 'go shopping'.
HOW DO I LOG OFF ?
  1. There is no need to Log Off, as such. All you need to do is 'End The Session', Close the Browser Window.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY REGISTERED DETAILS ?
  1. Log on (Described in the section above.)
  2. Use the Register/Update link under the Set-Up section on the left hand navigation bar.
  3. The registration form will now be visible with your details filled in. Make any changes you need, remembering that any fields maked 'mandatory' must be filled in, Press the Submit Registration Information Button
  4. Your details will have now been changed.
HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD ?(Note ID's and Passwords are case sensitive)
  1. Log on (Described in the section above.)
  2. Use the Log in link under the Set-Up section on the left hand navigation bar.
  3. You will now be at the log on screen, 'click' the Change your Password link.
  4. Enter your 'OLD' password, and then your 'NEW' password twice. Click the Change button
  5. Your password has now been changed. You can now continue 'shopping'.
IS IT SAFE TO BUY ON THIS SITE ?
    YES, in a word. Any page on this site that requires you to enter 'sensitive' details is encrypted, that means it is sent over the web in a form that cannot be read. It would require sophisticated equipment and probably many years to break the encryption.
    If you are in any doubt you can set up your browser to prompt you when you are entering or leaving a secure area of any site, or you can right click your mouse button, on any page, and choose properties. The pop-up window that is displayed will show the connection details that will say either 'Not Encrypted' or it will give details of the encryption being used.
HOW DO I GO ABOUT BUYING SOMETHING ?
  1. Please feel free to browse through the catalogue and add things to the Trolley. But to actually Buy your selection of goods you must either Register yourself, if you have not been to this site before. Or you should Log on if you have registered on a previous visit.
  2. From the index page click on the Section Headings and Sub-Section headings until you find the goods you want.
  3. Enter the quantity, of the goods you wish to purchase, in the box provided on the catalogue page, and 'click' the Add to Trolley link. (See the Shopping Trolley/Shopping List section for a description of the difference between the two.)
    You can continue to add things to the trolley until you have all the items you require. You can remove things from the trolley using the 'Remove item' link, and re-calculate the total cost with the button provided. Once you are happy with your order press the 'Check Out' button.
  4. You will be taken to the 'Check Out' page where you can select a delivery address for your goods.
    You can use an address you have already set up, or you can add a new address by using the Address Book Button. (See the section below for details)
    Once you have selected the appropriate address click the 'Submit' button.
  5. You will now be at the Order Payment screen, this is where you will enter payment details. This screen shows the delivery address and total for the order.
    If you feel something is wrong, you can use the 'Go to Trolley' Button (top of screen), and change the order and/or address.You can enter your own Reference Number, in the box provided. This Number will then be attached to the order and will help you to keep track of it at your end. If you currently have a Morplan Account you can 'check' that box and push the 'Purchase' button, the total will be added to your account.
    If you wish to pay by card then you must, select the card type, start and expiry dates, issue number (if applicable) and enter the card number, finally click the 'Purchase' button.
  6. This will take you to the order confirmation screen where you will see the details of your order. If you have any problems there is a telephone number and address listed that you can contact. An e-mail will be sent to you with the order number and time of transaction.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF THINGS ARE IN STOCK ?
    Once your order has been placed it will be processed by our Web Support team. If any items are out of stock, they will call you to arrange or suggest alternatives for you. We do try hard to ensure that products that are temporarily out of stock do not appear on the website, but we are only human and unfortunately some errors do occur.
HOW DO I SET DELIVERY ADDRESSES ?
  1. The address you enter when you register will be the default address used for your Invoices, this can be changed at any time by using the 'Register/Update' link at the side of the page, or as below.
    Delivery addresses can be changed or added just after you have logged in or at the 'Check Out' page during the process of buying goods, at which stage you can either choose a delivery address from the list box or you can add/change addresses by clicking the 'Address Book' button.
  2. Once at the address book screen you will see your default (Invoice) address listed in the upper list box. If you already have more than one delivery address setup you will also see these in the lower list box.
    To add a new address click the 'Add Address' button, fill in the details and click the 'Add New Address Book Entry' button. The new address will now be displayed in the list of addresses, it can now be used at the check out page. (Accessiable via the button at top of page).
  3. To update an address, select it from the top most list and click the 'Update Address' button, change the address and then click the 'Update Address Book Entry' button. The address will now be changed.
  4. To remove an address from your address book, select it from the bottom list box and click the 'Remove Address' button, it will now be deleted.
  5. Once you have changed or added an address you can go back to the Check Out page by using the Button at the top ofthe screen.
HOW DO I USE THE SHOPPING TROLLEY AND SHOPPING LIST ?
    The shopping trolley contains the goods you intend to buy. The shopping list is a list of items, that you set up, that will be 'remembered' from one visit to the next. This allows you to 'save' a list of the items you buy on regular basis so that you can add them to the trolley, either individually or as a whole, on your next visit thus making shopping faster and easier for you.
  1. Shopping Trolley : You can view the shopping trolley at any time by using the button at the top of the screen.
    To add items to the trolley enter the quantity you require, in the box provided on the catalogue page, and click the Add to Trolley button at the bottom of the catalogue pages
    Once you are at the Shopping Trolley screen you can change the quantity of items by changing them in the 'Quantity' box. Pushing the Re-calculate button will update the total cost of the order. You can remove items buy clicking the 'Remove Item' link, once again you can re-calculate the total cost.
    You can use the Print Order Form button to print a copy of the order, if you then fill in the payment deatils, you can Fax the form to us and we will process the order for you, in this case you will not have to go any further with the order, you can clear the contents of the trolley and leave the site. Alternatively you could just use this hard copy for reference purposes.
  2. Shopping List : You can view your shopping list at any time by using the Customised shopping list link at the side of the page.
    You can add items to the list by clicking the Add to Shopping list button at the bottom of the catalogue pages.
    Once at the List page you can change the quantities by re-typing them and clicking the 'Update' button. Items can be removed by clicking the 'Remove' button.
    To add items to your Shopping Trolley from the List, use either the 'Add to Trolley' button, to add that particular item or use the 'Add List to Trolley' button, to add the entire list.
WHAT IS FAST ORDER ENTRY ?
    Use the link at the side of the screen to take you to the Fast Order entry screen. This will then allow you to enter product codes and quantities in the boxes provided, clicking the Submit button will then add the products to your Shopping Trolley.
    This allows you to shop for goods without having to use the On-Line catalogue. The product codes are all available in our Printed Catalogue.
WHAT IS THE INTERNET ORDER HISTORY ?
    This page allows you to view orders you have placed On-Line. To view the details of an order click on the 'VIEW' link, if you wish to repeat the complete order click the 'COPY' link. This will copy that order straight into the Shopping Trolley, from where you can continue to buy those goods. The Status column allows you to track your order. Order Placed indicates that the order is the process of being prepared. Order Processed indicates that the order has been prepared and is on its way to you.
    If you have any problems with any order, please note the order reference number and call Customer Services, details of which can be found using the Customer Services link on the side of the screen.
DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS ?
    Yes we do. Simply place the order as normal. However, due to the varied nature of the goods we stock, it is not possible to quote a fixed shipping charge. Therefore, we will contact you, within 2 working days with a no obligation quote for the shipping charges. Should you wish to proceed this cost will then be added to your order and your credit card will be debited. Please note as a general guide we have found that shipping charges on orders below £100 tend to make the shipping prohibitively expensive.
