I have been with Morplan since December 21, starting in telesales and then I moved over to Key accounts in August 22. The key accounts role interested me as I like to build connections with my customers to better understand their requirements.
I have looked after the charity accounts since August 2022. In this time, I have built my knowledge of charities and their requirements. I have done this by visiting charity shops, talking to a range of people within the charity sector and keeping myself up to date with information from Linkedin and the CRA (Charity retail association). I have learnt how to measure and draw plan for shop fits and enjoy visiting the charity shops to help with their plans and then seeing/hearing how the shop is thriving.
I started out my career in IT which has helped me with the technical side of CAD drawings and then moved into sales / retail.
In the dynamic world of retail, charity shops play a unique and vital role. They serve as more than just places to find affordable goods; they are community hubs, supporting noble causes.
