I am the Managing Director at Morplan and has been with the company for nearly 9 years. I have spent 35 years plus in the industry and have worked for big names such as PC World, PC City, Dixons, Sony, Philips and Bosch Siemens.

In the beginning of my career I started as a Graduate Trainee in Marketing at the newly privatised British Gas, as I wanted a big company where I could learn the basics of marketing having done a physical geography degree.

I then set up a stand alone retail Kitchen business for British Gas until I moved to Bosch Siemens as a product manager and introduced the 1st stainless steel oven into the UK for domestic use. Hard to believe up to that point it was either white or brown. From there I moved on to Philips Consumer electronics and introduced the 1st VCR/TV combi to the UK market. Introduced the 1st jelly semi clear audio products before Apple Mac did their blue and orange.

From there I moved into retail as the Marketing Director for PC World in the UK and then went to France to put PC City into France opening 7 stores there. Once I came back to the UK as the Head of International Business Development for PC World business.

Finally, I joined Sony as their Head of Commercial Engineering for Europe before leaving there to join Morplan.

I enjoy helping UK and international retailers create exciting retail, because if it’s not exciting then why bother?

I am passionate about giving retailers environmentally sound alternatives to existing product ranges and I am always looking for new ideas in retail and how we can personalise our offerings for them / their end customers. I also take a lot of pride in our customers and the service we offer them.
